On the 7th we get a preview of what the rest of the month and the retrogrades have in store, with a deeply illuminating Full Moon in Scorpio that calls for us to dive into our shadow work, and to get the transmutation process started. This is where we are to dig into what hurts, understand why it hurts, and to bring the cure to light. With the Sun being in Taurus, these opposing forces do not play nice when it comes to bringing secrets or truths we would rather avoid to the surface, so to be examined and laid to rest for once and for all. This is a time of completions and deeply cleaning out our closet that hides the things that go bump in the night.
Recent events have not been the most pleasant within the World, as it seems the World itself as a collective has gone through a period of deep shadow work, and so it would only make sense that we are all called to do the same. All in all, this is going to help the shift in consciousness and frequency that the World needs. We have all sat back and watched as corruption within the political system and abuse of power that the Capricorn conjunction has been pulling out, and so now that we know the sickness, we can find and apply the cure. The same goes for us as well – we need to look deeper within and understand the triggers or toxic behaviors that are keeping us from the growth we need and soul-evolution that we are destined to experience in this lifetime.
When the Moon is in Scorpio, it is quite powerful in digging up things that have been laid to rest – out of sight, out of mind, and for exposing secrets that we had thought were best kept hidden. This is where everything we have been pushing to keep in the dark becomes illuminated and we have no choice but to face the light. For many, this process may not be the most difficult, especially if they have been already working hard at their shadow work journey, and for some, this Scorpio influence can provoke self-destructive patterns because of an unwillingness to face and accept the truths that bring forth the freedom desired and needed. Not all shadow work is easy, and not everyone has the strength to endure it, or the willingness to do so.
A powerful trait of the Full Moon in Scorpio is it’s influence of manifestation and alchemic magic. Typically, during a New Moon in Scorpio you would want to preform a manifestation ritual, and with a Full Moon it is all about endings or completion, rather than starting something new. And so, with that said you can use its power during this Full Moon to boost your motivation and will-power in putting in those final touches when it comes to closing out old chapters.
