Capricorn Full Moon July 9th, 2017 | Build the Foundation that will Support Your Dreams

The Full moon on July 9th is going to be rather lucky. Typically, the Moon has a hard time with Capricorn, but in this case, it brings the perfect punch we need when dealing with Pluto’s Capricorn energy when dishing out lessons and cycles of Power and Wealth. This means a number of things, but I feel it’s affects will mostly two main factors which are extremely important for all of us. One is removing what is necessary – that means cutting cords, and setting healthy boundaries with others when it comes to our self-worth. And, it also means this is the perfect Moon for a money ritual, as Pluto, the planet of power, also rules wealth.

What I love most about the financial factor, that this is the perfect time to highlight what we need to ensure long-term wealth and a sense of security, or foundation, as a Capricorn’s key focus is what works on the long run versus a temporary need or get-rich-quick scheme. This is the sign that doesn't just peak and come back down - they aim to remain at the peak and rule there, and then to take it to the next level.

Capricorn comes into our dreamy or fogged up environment and demands that we clean house and drop whatever it is that is keeping us from achieving our goals, and with that, we can hope to receive what we’re working for much easier without outside, or personal distractions that keep us in the slow lane. Those things within that we need more self-control, discipline or a sense of authority will be illuminated with the Full Moon's light.

Our past failures, or cycles of lessons we did not overcome are going to come back, and the energy with both the Sun and the Moon place both an affect that some want to run away home, and avoid the confrontation, or having to step outside their comfort zone of denial, and some are going to roll up their sleeves and face it head on. As Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and with Pluto’s energy of transformation, power and wealth being highlighted, how we overcome these obstacles will determine how the next two weeks until the Leo New Moon will be.

The downside, or negative to this energy is the darkness it may activate is some. Keep in mind that attacks or low blows thrown your way is often a projection of jealousy as some cannot handle your power. I feel this is triggered by Pluto, and as the sign Capricorn can be rather jealous and wants to be the Top Dog – failure is not an option, so that sense of fear of a failing is triggered in others by your light overshadowing them. Don’t take it personally, and move along, as engaging would only serve as a distraction to take you off course. We can thank Pluto, the planet of power being amplified with the Full Moon in Capricorn when it comes down to this, so don’t let others take your power from you, and stand your ground.

I feel that with the Cancer Sun, we have that need to nurture, or to serve the greater good and with the Capricorn Moon, we are more inclined on how we can use our skills of service to sustain long-term stability within the home, our career, or any other aspect in our lives where we are craving stability, structure and something to work for, or value to bring from our efforts.

Ritual for Obtaining Goals & Desires in Future Prosperity

This Full Moon energy is perfect for a money, career, or long-term goal ritual or intention meditation. So create a dream board, cast a spell under the Full Moon light, or refocus and brainstorm what your 5 year plan is. Spend your time with this energy and harness it into your will. Think big, but be practical - don't set yourself up to fail with hard to reach goals within a limited time frame.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Green Candle
• Citrine, Tiger's Eye, & Green Aventurine gemstones
• Bay Leaf(s)
• Needle or your Altar Knife
• Pen
• Sage and/or Sandalwood Incense
• Altar or fire safe bowl

Cleanse the sacred space in which you will preform your ritual and make sure that you can spend time alone uninterrupted. You want to ensure that you can apply intense focus on this ritual. Charge your ritual items (run them through the sage or incense smoke and state your intentions for the ritual).

Carve a dollar sign, or any type of money symbol you want in the candle with a needle or altar knife, as well as the bay leaf with a pen. You want this symbol to represent what you are asking for. If you want a house, then maybe draw a picture of a house, if you want a good paying and lasting career, then draw a dollar sign, but as you do, imagine your career and write out the digits of the salary you want to make as well.

Light the candle.

Stare into the flame and focus on what your wish, desire, or intention is. Run each crystal above or through (don't burn yourself) the flame and state your intention, charging the crystal, allowing it's metaphysical qualities for abundance to merge with your own will to obtain abundance as well. As you hold each crystal above the flame, say the following:

Citrine: I have a positive outlook about money and money comes to me effortlessly, allowing me to afford all of my needs and live a comfortable and prosperous life.

Tiger's Eye: I align myself to the right opportunities that bring wealth and the material abundance I need and desire.

Green Aventurine: I am lucky and attract abundance. I make wise investments and spend my money wisely.

Hold the Bay Leaf above the candles flame and state your intention again. You may say a chant if you life, requesting to the Universe what you desire. After you feel you have finished making your request, burn the bay leaf and place it in a fire safe bowl and allow it to burn all the way through - feel free to burn any remaining pieces that don't catch flame. keep the ashes.

Stare again in the candle's flame, focusing on your intentions. You may let the candle burn all the way out, or you may repeat the ritual over the course of time until the candle burns all the way down. Make sure to store your ritual supplies, as well as your crystals in a safe place out of view and access of others. When all you have is wax, bury the wax with the ashes of the Bay Leaf, and place the crystals in your purse, or wear them as jewelry (I do suggest intention bracelets, or gemstone bracelets to keep you focused on your intentions).
