Cards # 1
4 of Cups | Balance
Why do things seem so out of balance in your life? What is missing? You might be asking yourself these questions because you feel that your unhappiness stems from an imbalance, or from something you are lacking. The future doesn’t seem bright, and the blessings you desire seem very out of right.
Well… have you considered that you’re asking for the wrong things? Or that what you are desiring, might not be the best thing for you? Sometimes we want things that put us in a place of ‘lack’ or feeling rejected because it’s the catalyst needed to meet ourselves deeper, and sometimes we need those negative things in our life to prove to us how fortunate we are already, without it. As they say, sometimes you can’t see the good without first experiencing the bad.
The 4 of Cups is a card of denying the blessings that already surround you because you are focused on things which are out of reach. Or that what you desire isn’t manifesting because you are wanting the wrong things that speak to the ego rather than to the soul, or to the balance of both. It all stems from within, and your perspective. When you realize that YOU are in control of how you feel, it either becomes a hard pill to swallow because that puts the responsibility of your happiness within your own hands. You have the free will in this life to chase after whatever you desire, or to come back to yourself and realize that there is no chasing needed, because all you need is already in front and of you, and within.
Start counting the blessings that are all before you, and before you know it, you will find the happiness you seek, as well as open the flood gates for abundance to start pouring in. Like attracts like, after all
Cards # 2
Prince of Disks | Integrity
The path with integrity is anything but easy. You must stick to that high road, no matter how much longer it takes to receive the rewards you desire. As they say, slow and steady win the race, too many short cuts may get you lost! Also, if you expect something to happen overnight, without working for it, yearning for it, or making it a proper ‘goal’, then when you receive it, you might not appreciate it as much.
You might have opportunities to wander off path, or are given directions on how to go about certain short cuts – don’t. Stick to the path you are on now, and continue doing as you have been. Don’t let impatience get the best of you! True, it may take longer, but the reward will be far greater, and you will appreciate it all the more, which also adds to its magic.
If you take those short cuts, or get stuck in the impatience of it all, then you might miss out on valuable insights, as well as experiences, that are needed to really make the most of it all.
Cards # 3
4 of Swords | Let Go
The meaning to these cards is rather simple, but also complex – depending on how you perceive it.
The answer to your question? Let it go… You are stressing over things outside of your control and are in turn controlling you. Not everything needs to be perfect, and not everything needs to be understood or resolved – sometimes you just have to let it be, and it will solve all on its own. Of course, that’s not with everything in life, but in this particular situation, you need to let go in order to find your peace of mind and recharge your tired soul, because you are fighting too hard against something that doesn’t even require you to fight at all.
You are causing yourself unneeded stress and depleting yourself of the strength you need in other areas because of it.
What you need is a break. A little down time for some much-needed R&R. You might feel that you don’t have the time to do that, but that’s all your own perspective. You need to rest your tired mind and soul, and with that, you will find the strength to address issues that have been getting under your skin. You don’t have to worry so much, a lot of the pressure you place onto your shoulders, isn’t even yours to deal with.
You may actually be recovering from an illness such as a bad cold, or stressing yourself out so much that you are beginning one – either case, this illness is direct result to the pressure and stress you are placing onto yourself. Let it go.
